The walls are often marked with illegal symbols, including signs of the Dragon Cult—a clear reminder of rebellion against the established order and perhaps a hidden hope for changing the current state of affairs.

Neighbors often support each other in difficult times, sharing rumors by the fires that light up at night, gathering together to share food or work. In the Slums, every corner may hide secret gatherings or illegal deals, and while the district is steeped in despair, it is also filled with determination and hope for a better future.
