The Cult of Dragons has a long history, overshadowed by their last attempt to summon the dragon goddess into the world of Terragon 500 years ago. This event nearly led to catastrophe but was thwarted at the last moment thanks to the efforts of brave heroes and the Council of Mages.
Since then, the Cult of Dragons has become synonymous with betrayal and danger in the eyes of society and the government. Any mention or association with the Cult entails serious consequences, including imprisonment for mere mention and the death penalty for membership.
Despite its marginalization and the danger associated with the Cult, its symbolism increasingly appears in grimy alleys and slums. The Cult continues to attract followers among the desperate and discontented, especially in small towns and poor neighborhoods, where their preachers claim that the depletion of magic in Terragon is a punishment for the dragons’ banishment from this world. Official authorities and the Council of Mages categorically deny any connection between the banishment of dragons and the current magical crisis.
The supreme authority in the Cult of Dragons, according to its charter, must always be held by the dragons themselves. However, in their absence, the organization is led by five of the most devoted and fanatical members, bearing the title “Wearer of Purple.” These leaders act as temporary representatives of the dragons’ will, guiding the Cult’s actions while awaiting the return of their true rulers. Currently, the title is held by:
- Raska – known for her fanatical devotion to the goal of bringing dragons back at any cost.
- The Wearer of Purple – a strategist and tactician who prefers to operate from the shadows.
- Master Wearer of Purple – a charismatic leader whose sermons inspire the most desperate.
- ??????? – .
- ??????? – .
Each of them contributes their unique skills to the Cult’s activities, but their ultimate goal remains unchanged — the return of the dragons and the restoration of their power over the world.
