The jewelers’ guild in the settlement of Rakota Manor is renowned far beyond the borders of Terragon. Founded during the golden age of gemstone mining, it continues to thrive thanks to the skill of its members. The name “The Jewelers’ Forge” reflects both the artistry of the craftsmen and the uniqueness of their creations — pieces quite literally “forged” in this land.

The guild occupies a massive stone building in the northern part of the settlement. Its walls are made of polished granite, and the facade is adorned with carvings of gemstones and scenes from the settlement’s history. The main entrance is a grand door inlaid with real crystals that glimmer in the sunlight.

Forge Features

Workshop & Exhibition Hall:
The first floor is divided into two areas: the workshop and the exhibition hall.

  • The Workshop is a spacious area where the finest artisans work. Here, one hears the ringing of metal, sees magically heated smelting furnaces, and stone-carving machinery. For the most complex projects, an arcane circle is used to enhance precision and speed.
  • The Exhibition Hall is where visitors can admire completed works: rings, bracelets, necklaces, diadems, and even magical amulets. Some pieces possess enchantments, such as glowing in the dark or amplifying the wearer’s magical abilities.

Guild Members

The guild includes around twenty masters. Among them are seasoned jewelers who trained here from youth and newcomers from all over Terragon seeking to learn from the best. The guild is led by a strict but fair dwarven woman named Dragna Stoneshine. Her jewelry is known for its elegance and is often commissioned by nobles and mages.

Annual Masterwork Tournament

Every year, on the eve of the winter solstice, the guild hosts the Jewelers’ Tournament. Participants compete to craft the most beautiful or unusual piece. Entries are judged not only on appearance but also on originality of materials and magical properties.

Secret Commissions

The guild accepts confidential orders from influential clients. Rumors suggest that the masters occasionally craft amulets for secret societies or relics tied to ancient artifacts.

A Link to the Past

The Forge holds a small archive containing records of old mines, gemstones found in the region, and secret crafting techniques. Legends whisper that a hidden map lies within the archives — one leading to forgotten lodes or even the treasure vault of House Rakot.

The Jewelers’ Forge is more than a place where art is born — it is the heart of the settlement, uniting tradition, craftsmanship, and magic. Locals take pride in calling it one of the finest guilds in the region.
