Session 8
After the battle, the heroes returned to the house, where they spent the night recuperating for a new challenge. At dawn, with a modest meal of what they could find in the house, they followed the trail of one of the interrogated bandits who had shown them the way to their camp. They wandered through the forest trails for a long time and got a little lost, but the footsteps of the Medvesic led them to a rock with a stone door that was ajar. When all five of them entered the dungeon, the door slammed shut, and all attempts to open it again were futile.
Before them lay a damp and cold corridor plunged into darkness. One of the heroes lit the torches that hung on the walls, illuminating the way forward. Walking down the winding corridor, they came to a large room measuring 20 by 10 feet. Suddenly, a ghastly monstrosity collapsed down on them from the ceiling – a humanoid body completely braided with roots and strange plants. After a fierce fight, the heroes thoroughly explored the room and discovered a door leading further into the depths of the dungeon.
