Through Shadows and Illusions

In Tary’s bag, Fhenris magically persuaded Datalia to give him her belongings and a contract for part of a house in Lux Astra. Among the items was a magical sword, which Adan claimed for himself.

Tary arrived at Zori’s shop, where Igor suggested she go to the basement to unload her things. In the basement, the adventurers disguised themselves to avoid drawing attention and exited through a secret passage hidden behind barrels.

The passage led into the underground sewers of Stellar Tower. Walking along wooden walkways beside a stream of wastewater, the group reached a small lake. From there, it was only a short distance to the entrance to the Underdark.

In the depths, myconids informed them that Iskar had descended further on his own business. The heroes set out after him but decided along the way that they were too tired and returned to a cozy, illuminated myconid grove. Iskar soon arrived, and after a brief rest, he opened a portal to the Astral Plane for the group.

Interestingly, Datalia had been following the group all along. In the end, they decided to take her with them to Lux Astra.

Reaching Lux Astra through the Astral Plane, the adventurers handed the cauldron to Sevadis. Bro filled the cauldron with magical icy vapor but lost his tattoos in the process. Sevadis took the cauldron for experiments, hoping to use it to move Lux Astra into the Astral Plane.

Afterward, the heroes visited Fregnard to discuss “Plan C,” which involved finding a dragon and empowering it with the Heart of Sardior. However, Fregnard suggested an alternative: to retrieve the Heart, forge it into a weapon, and use it to defeat either Ptaris, the Dragon Cult, or both. He insisted on acting immediately, without wasting time on remaining visions.

Another plan Fregnard proposed was much simpler: to drink cocktails in the Astral Plane and watch Terraggon fall. Since Fregnard seemed somewhat dubious, the adventurers decided not to follow his advice for now, leaving the question of their next actions open.
